Wow! 6 planets in self-starting, hot-headed Aries, and all but 1 are conjunct with the New Moon!

Aries is about brave new beginnings. This chart is offering a spark of new life to plant bold, audacious intentions around facing fears, and boldly investing your energies where they count.

Now is an important window to plant seeds of courage, pursue your desires, and to express your original truth It’s also a time to find out more about what is driving your bus, and to dig up the roots of your old misconceptions about power.

Our collective is now navigating a tumultuous time that is rife with threatening possibilities of large-scale catastrophes ensuing. It looks like some of the “powers that be” are working to drive us right off the edge of a few suicidal cliffs, and many of us are either deer-in-the headlights frozen with feelings of helplessness (and/or new age denial), or playing along with and propagating a toxic cultural heritage of ignorance, power-over egotism, and misplaced blame.

This New Moon offers us an opportunity to call to the surface some of the stickiest shit that’s still stopping up our circuitry, and to call on some daring bravery to incite a healing revolution.

This Moon is closely conjunct with Venus, Mars, and… dwarf planet Eris.

Eris was discovered in 2005. She’s larger than Pluto, and her discovery led to Pluto’s demotion. Eris’ mythology is about strife and discord that catalyze confrontations with deep fundamental hangups. I think her message in this chart is about facing up to the realities of psychopathy in our cultural arena and claiming responsibility for transforming this poison in our own lives.

According to Paul Levy, this poison has the cure hidden in it: Let’s Spread the Word: Wetiko

Another dwarf planet, Ceres (largest body in the asteroid belt- about 1/3 its total mass) has just moved back into cozy Cancer, and is also playing a significant role now. Ceres (Demeter) brings a very motherly vibration. Nurturing children and plants, being nurtured, and experiencing the beauty and wonder of mortal life on planet Earth are Ceres’ gifts. Now in Cancer (sign of home and early childhood), she’s moving into a Grand Trine with Saturn in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces.

This Water Grand Trine is a healing balm. Invoke faith and trust in the process of this month (it’s eclipse season…) on an emotional level.

Yes- movement and brave action are necessary. Facing your fears and raising your voice are also required. However, compassion for and trust in the adventure of life is the most important ingredient you can add to the stew now.

Cheers- Adam Wolter
