Virgo Full Moon

Sell your cleverness and purchase bewilderment –Rumi

This Full Moon is in practical, detail-oriented Virgo- a placement that is known to bring clarity to decisions that are on our plates, motivate us to make rational, well-considered changes in our daily health regimens, and help us to better organize the puzzle pieces of our lives. This time, however, is a bit different, as we have 5 (6 in a few hours) planets in irrational, mystically-attuned Pisces.

Mercury (in Pisces-sign of its fall and detriment) is retrograde and conjunct with Mars, asking us to bring to light hidden frustrations and to release them. Mercury is the ruler of Virgo, and its retrograde in emotional Pisces is a time to retreat and review the beliefs, personal mythologies, and consciousness habits we’re cooking with. (Mercury will be in Pisces til April 14th- this is just the kickoff party)

Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac. It contains all the archetypes: the gods and goddesses of our collective unconscious. This Full Moon offers us a chance to bid adieu to cultural histories and programs that are limiting our capacity to live the lives we want. What are your beliefs about the human race? Are we parasites on this planet? Or are we human “becomings,” calling forth new potentials of creative expression, harmony, and divinity?

The stories are yours to write, but the path to writing better stories might be gummed up with old programs of limitation now: addictions, fears, victimhood, blame… (Piscean shadows). Decide with this Full Moon to release all that is keeping you from experiencing the magic and wonder of who you truly are.

Cheers -Adam Wolter
